Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization that provides local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each November Life Fellowship hosts a "Packing Party" inviting community members and churches alike to help us make a difference in the life of a needy child by packing hundreds of shoeboxes.

Although National Collection Week takes place every November, preparation is done all year round! We collect items throughout the year, with an emphasis on specific items each month, so that when it comes time to pack the shoeboxes, we already have plenty of things to stuff them with! Visit the OCC area at the church to see what we're collecting right now!
