The Bible is one of the best ways to learn about God, His promises, and His purpose for our lives. We believe

all scripture is "God Breathed", and studying it is a great way to grow in your relationship with Him.

The Bible can be intimidating if you don't know where to begin! First, you'll need a bible. If you don't have one, you can download the free Bible App!

It will allow you to read the bible, bookmark or highlight passages you want to remember, and also offers focus study plans that will help you find specific scriptures to study!

There are many ways to study the bible. One way recommend is to Journal using S.O.A.P.

(We have journals with pre-made reading plans available at the church, just ask!)

Step 1: Scripture

Open your Bible to your reading for the day. Take time reading and allow God to speak to you. When you are done, look

for a verse that particularly spoke to you that day, and write it in your journal (or your favorite note taking app!).

Step 2: Observation

What do you think God is saying in this scripture? Write it down. Pray that God

would reveal the meaning of the scriptures to you as you read.

Step 3: Application

Personalize what you have read, by asking yourself how it applies to your life right now.

Perhaps it is instruction, encouragement, a new promise, or corrections for a particular area

of your life. Write how this scripture can apply to you today.

Step 4: Prayer

This can be as simple as asking God to help you use this scripture, or even a prayer

for a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Now, write it out.
